When i feel i offer good advice, people dont listen cause of my mental state.?

i know i have good advice just from life experiences and docs and traveling. but people just blow me off because they think i am crazy it really upsets me, because i know i can help.!!!!!When i feel i offer good advice, people dont listen cause of my mental state.?
Luvacat is right, and you pretty much telling them that you are good or better than dealing with these things coz you give them your advice and they think that they are under your shoes.... But if it is a best friend or relative that has been in alot of trouble in life, maybe you can have a go at it as these people are pretty much open to any answers.

I have this exact experience myself but it just didnt help and i felt very wrong as if, im the only who did the mistake!!!

Anyways, another reason why people dont want to take it, its coz they are afraid their ego could get damage - thisis how are society look at these things but what society doesnt know it is just one perpective out of 1,000,00000000.... be open i guess is the conclusion, good or bad, openess is the key...

Well people judge the advice by the person who is giving it. For example if a homeless person told you to invest all your money in stock would you trust his advice? Would you trust it more if a millionaire told you it? If you want more respect then change the way you are living. People think that you live by your advice and they can see how well it worked by judging your life now.
People don't like to receive unsolicited advice. It annoys people. And most people do not want to ask for advice either. They should ask for advice more, but they just don't like to. So they make their own mistakes. That's life.

Help people on yahoo answers instead - they are asking for advice.
if people ignore it its their fault! All you can do is offer, say you have been there. You go, you rock!!!
