Why are certain police officers on this site so bolshie when people ask advice?

If they behave like arrogant morons on here what are they like on the streets?. People ask advice and are treated as imbeciles. If they can't be bothered to answer politely then what are they doing on this site?.Why are certain police officers on this site so bolshie when people ask advice?
Perhaps they have had a bad day, but I agree they could be a bit more tolerant as not everybody is able to put into words what they really want to say.Why are certain police officers on this site so bolshie when people ask advice?
Its not about being arrogant. Some people prefer to be spoken to in a way that is easy to understand , without the fear of being patronised.


Unfortunately some idiots on here think that we should talk the talk all the time, never going to happen. Everyone can expect a blunt and to the point answer from myself and that's what i usually do and possibly the reason why i am third in the all time top answers for this category.


Don't slag some of us off just because we say what we see, some people prefer us to be that way.
How do you know they're police officers? And in terms of politeness, the guys who are cops on here receive way more crap even on here than the others.
The police used to be there to protect and serve the public whilst treating us as innocent until proven guilty.


Now the police are trained to view us all as a potential threat/enemy and their main purpose is to control us.

Maybe it is because the persons asking the question are trying to absolve themselves from their crimes they committed? They then see the answer as being too blunt.


Police are NOT Social workers and that is how it should be.
Don't assume that they actually are police officers. There are a lot of idiots on here with ideas of grandeur.
I have noticed this recently and it seems to apply to one officer in particular. No wonder the public have no respect for them.
Those who do this are not Police officers. Whatever you are told by morons always check for the validity. That goes for non moron answers too.
They think they are superior to us mere mortals, sorry chaps we pay your wages not the other way around. Have a bit of courtesy.
