What is your advice to people who spend 2 billion LE on condolences in Egypt ? ?

statistics say that we have spent 2 billion LE last year on writing condolences in papers , and sending telagrams , etc .


what can you say about this ?What is your advice to people who spend 2 billion LE on condolences in Egypt ? ?
I say that this money is better spent to elevate the living standard in Egypt.


A short note in the newspaper ending with'; According to the wish of .... condolences is by telegram';.


This will save the money spent on renting a hall to receive friends and relatives since many of them go just out of their sense of duty. This will save their time and energy in such traffic conditions that we all suffer from.What is your advice to people who spend 2 billion LE on condolences in Egypt ? ?
I saw el kahera el youm too ya moonrise, but I think they are not looking at the whole picture,





Of course enlarging the font or writing many condolences is wrong, but after all we are 80million and if someone passed away the family should know abt it, and friends, that's normal, and for example people living in other cities will send a telegraph or call, and the family of the died person have to do a condolences if they can (have money) to make his friends, colleagues, ..ect know abt it.


BUT without exaggerating.
Advice to them is nothing


I doubt they will read it or even they are here around us,


I tell you one more thing ';as I have bin told,in Ramadan in some countries they send sort of complementary dinner ';Iftar'; of course they never send the proper amount ,they sent as 10 times,and as I was told the following morning in the dust bin will be thrown


6 months ago statistic released show that in England 20 000 000 000 pounds worth of food is thrown in dust bins


In one of the weddings one introduced a new ';Idea'; th throw tiny pieces of gold on the dancing stage


It was strange to me once to be invited to graduated party';Tawjihi'; in which it cost 5000 dinars at that time this amount was good to buy 2 donums ';half faddan'; in a good area


In some weddings one may see that one item cost which is of no significance ';fire work ';ma.y get to few thousands of dollars,as if it a national day


some would say Somalia .or Sudan have some hunger and famine,I will say yes of course but also look what is behind your shoulder


Many has interfered to stop these phenomena


but in vain,I suppose it needs ';mann yu3eluqu eljarass'; It needs some of those who do it to start doing it differently but it needs pioneers
it's definitely exaggerated .. but you have to see the ones in Jordanian newspaers !! they're hillarious .. and they have to insert the King's name in every thing !!!!!!

i swear they do it ... and they also do these whole-page obituaries ... which states the names of the deceased whole tribe (esp. if he's original Arab Jordanian not of Palestinian origin) ... his dad, uncles, aunts, cousins, 2nd cousins, 3rd cousins, brothers-in-law, sons, daughters, grand-children, neighbors, relatives in other cities ..... etc !!!
My advice is:


pleas revise your priorities this money can be used for things more useful for the dead and the living humans :


feeding poor ppl , providing houses for street children , build school , medical treatment for poor ppl , marriage for poor men and women , and many many other things , all this things will him in the day of ba3th !



no need to receive american money through help program


and no need to spend one cent on condolence
