Probably not. If you're lucky, you might be able to find a patent attorney who is willing accept a percentage of sales/royalties in lieu of payment. It certainly is not common, but I guess it doesn't hurt for you to call around.





You might also consider filing a provisional patent application, which usually can be filed with substantially less cost than a non-provisional patent application. A provisional patent application can give you some time in which to gather up money or find investors.
